The school is a participant in the national sports having featured students in Badminton (2009) and Javelin (2010). The following games are offered at the school: athletics, badminton, basketball, football, handball and table tennis. The school has one football pitch, two volleyball pitches and one handball pitch. It also has a mini gymnasium with table tennis table. The school’s routine includes a games period twice per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are inter-house sports competitions spread across the three school terms.
During the first term mini Olympics is held in the school to come up with the school’s team. The winning house is rewarded with special breakfast There is also a compulsory cross-country jog twice per week. This event is particularly popular yet unpopular among the students; many approach it with zeal while many also approach the games master with an excuse in an effort to avoid the jog. The volleyball team has remained a giant in the Nyeri County and is the custodian of the C.B.D. Nyamberi cup, Wamagana cup in the school category.
